The New York Red Bulls recently took some time out of their busy schedules during the season to visit with the little tikes of the Mother Hale Learning Center. On Thursday, August 16, 2007, New York Red Bulls players Keith Brathwaite and Seth Stammler spent a few hours showcasing a few soccer tricks and read a few story books to the children. Each of the youths received a Red Bulls logo soccer ball from the players and even showed the players a few tricks of their own – like how a soccer ball can be turned into a basketball, baseball and dodge ball by a 2 or 3 year old.
“The guys were great with the kids..” states Cindy Goldberger, Manager of Special Events & Community Relations for the Hale House Center, Inc. “The visit left quite an impression on them and we look forward to having the Red Bulls visit Hale House again soon.”
The Mother Hale Learning Center provides affordable, innovative, educational programs to as many as 38 children who ranged in ages from a few months up to 5 years old.
